- Johnstone Mfanafuthi Makatini of the African National Congress says that it is the beginning of the end of their grim struggle. He says that the current South African regime has serious problems â economic, political and international. Makatini is not happy with the reaction of the western countries. He is most dissatisfied with Great Britain, the United States and West Germany. He hopes to work across colour lines and to bridge divides. Male interviewer not identified.
