The transmission time is changed to 18:00-19:00. This is possibly part of re-scheduling following the revision of Ocean Sound on 4th Dec 1988. They are interview and music programmes. CD70- Interview with Dag Pike, record breaker and writer. The guest this evening is literally between records. He is already, as part of Richard Brandsome’s team, holder of the fastest Atlantic powered crossing. He is currently on stand-by waiting for the right weather pattern to join Peter Philips on his challenge for the sailing record across the Atlantic. And next year, he will tackle a powered crossing yet again with the Italian challenge. He talks about his life and his career and his passion for the sea.
