- The guest today is Lyn Paul, born Lynda Susan Belcher on February 16, 1949 in Wythenshawe, Manchester. She is an English pop singer, dancer and actress. She changed her name to Lyn Paul before joining the The New Seekers in 1970. She is currently appearing in Pantomine at the King’s Theatre, in Southsea, Portsmouth, in the play Mother Guss. She talks about her life and her career. She started dancing on stage at 3 years old. At 13 years-old she had the first opportunity for theatrical presentation. And then, she travelled abroad, specially to America. She became famous with the advert for Coca-Cola, singing the single I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing, which is one of the 100 best-selling singles in the UK. [Box 7]
