She explains everything you need to know about how to get a private pilot licence. You need to have 38 hours of flying. And she also discusses all the costs involved on this hobby. Track 2- Showing Cats. Jane talks about showing pedigree cats to participate in the shows. She explains all the special needs and treatments and the costs involved. Track 3- Patchwork - Maureen of Portsmouth Craft Faire explains methods of creating patchworks to make different things. She talks about fabrics, materials, costs, etc. It is a hobby in which everything is done by hand. Track 4- Model Aircraft. Flying model airplanes - cheap ways for beginners to begin this hobby. David explains everything from the simplest way to start this hobby to the most complicated and expensive, using with remote radio transmitors and the like. Track 5- Karate - In a Middle School - a class of Karate for children. Sue Hooper, a teacher, explains all about this sport and techniques, and how she ended up in this career. She says, generally there are 2 type of persons that go for it: 1- People that are shy, not too confident of themselves, they can make improvements on their personality and become more confident and they feel stronger. 2- Lunatics! Track 6- Dry Slope Skiing. In Southampton Sports Centre, there is a Dry Slope Skiing for the public to use. It is run by the City Council and the manager explains all about this sport, courses, costs, etc. He says that there are 2 types of skiing that people like to do: some people like free style and others go for racing. Track 7-Model Locomotives. Craig Morrison talks about this hobby. He built a model with the scale of 4 milimiters to a foot. He explains how he started this creative hobby which has occupied a great deal of his time. You have to be a bit of a steam lunatic to enter in this adventure. [Box 7]
