Eurythmics Would I lie to you Easterhouse [Manchester group] interview. Talk about pop music in Manchester, sing Coming up for air. Andy Perry says band is political but not in student way, does not sacrifice music to putting over political slogans. The Pointer Sisters - Baly come and get it Freeze, description of band as it was, originally Southern Freeze, and now new album coming out in June and will tour to promote album. Think they are a band to be reckoned with [Pete Marse talking]. That beats my patience [Freeze]. VINCE GILL - [American country music] - gives resume of career. Has always wanted to make own records. Does not like to be limited by musical labels [eg modern country] as happens in America because inhibits reaching a wider audience. Turn me loose - Vince Gill. The Rah Band - Richard Hewson interviewed. He describes early career as arranger of music and how Rah Band was formed. Clouds across the moon,[Rah Band] Recording studio for Rah has become very sophisticated. Does less outside arranging now. Has recently worked with Shakin Stevens and Cliff Richard. Richard Strange of The Engine Room, describes members of groups and aims of group, wants something that is melodic and danceable. [Box 6]
