Description

The Department of Transport has brought an exhibition to Reading in a double-decker bus. It shows the problems disabled people have to face when they use public transport, and some ways of making travel easier for them. The bus is parked outside the But’s Centre today and tomorrow. It will be moving on to Basingstoke Town Hall on Monday, and Tuesday to the Princes Gardens Car Park in Aldershot. The exhibition has been opened in Reading by the Mayor Basil Dunning. [Box 5]
