Track 1 - His first visit is to The Old Mill, and talks with the person that looks after it, who explains that this Mill goes far to Roman times. The second visit is to the Church of St. Michael and All Angels, talking with Andrew Brake. He tells the story of this church. Track 2 - Mike Matthews visits the Pottery Place and talks with a man that is retired and his hobby is to make pottery. He makes mostly utilitarian items, his wife paints the pottery. And they make grow bonsai plants and they explain how to do pottery, etc. Apart from being a hobby, it also increases his income to supplement his pension. The second interview is with Lady Jameson connected to the church and with the village. She tells the story of the church since 1275 a.d. Then Mike Matthews goes to a farm and talks to Michael that owns a Flour Mill. And he explains how he transformed the Mill into a large business. First his parents plant only organic grains, then they decided to make flour and today they make 50 different kinds of flour and they sell all over Britain. Track 3 - Two interviews: On the outskirsts of Ham, he visits an enourmous house named One’s Day and talks with the owner. He describes the house and say why they needed such a huge house with 7 bedrooms plus rooms for staff, maids and guests. A second interview is outside Shalbourne, with the Salbourne Soaring Group, and Mike Matthews talks to John, the Chief instructor of gliding. When soaring conditions are good enough, experienced pilots can fly hundreds of kilometres before returning to their home airfields, and occasionally flights over 1,000 kilometres are made. Mike Matthews also takes a quick flight together with John to experience this very expensive sport. [Box 4]
