Description

Mike Matthews in association with Vincent’s BMW, this week visits the village of Donnington. It lies on the county of Berkshire, North of Newbury on the B4494. His first visit is to the Castle, and he talks with Tony Reggan who tells the history of this ruined Medieval castle. He says that it had an important role during the war. The second interview is with Colin Cox, visiting the Golf Course on the edge of the village. A third visit is to the Priory and Mike Matthews talks to Richard Barton, who tells the story of this Priory since 1476. The last visit is to an Antique Restoration shop and he talks to Gordon Lorenz, who explains his work and antique pieces for restoration. [Box 4]
