Description
This is the third visit of Mike Matthews to a village. This time he is in Cholsey. It lies in Oxfordshire, 2 miles South Wallingford, just off the A329. Track 1- His first interview is with a lady that talks about the village history in saxon times. On track 2, he talks with Lillian Talbot, an 83-years-old lady and she talks about her memories of the village life when she was young. Another interview with Richard, a church warden talking about the church history from a 1,000 years ago. On track 3, Mike Matthews talks with Eva Taylor. She was born inside a pub and she talks about her memories of village life when she was younger. Others interviews with the vicary talking about Churchyard with the grave of Agatha Christie, stories of the railway, etc. [Box 4]
