The guest today is Richard Marx, born September 16, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He is a pop/rock singer, songwriter, musician and record producer. Today he is here in England for a show and to give interviews. He lived in Chicago with his family until he had 18-years-old. After finishing his High School, he went to Los Angeles, where his music talents were discovered by Lionel Richie. In Los Angeles, he could use Richie’s studio to record music, so he was given the opportunity that he really needed using all his talents as a musician, songwriter and singer. He lived for 10 years in Los Angeles. Now is going to be a father, he wants to relocate back to Chicago because this is where his family roots are and he loves that city. His dad also, is a famous pianist, and he talks a lot about his father, his inspiration. [Box 4]
