He thought that there were so many big houses with empty rooms, and had the idea to transform those houses in smaller flats, in such a way that they could manage to fit more people in. His idea went long way, not only in Reading, but all over England, then Northern Ireland. The programme was re-transmitted on 23rd November 1982. [Box 4]
