Mike Matthews interviews Dr Rob Buckman, born Aug 22, 1948, best known in the TV programme Just a Minute. He talks about his life and his career. He got his degree in Medicine from Cambridge University, then specialized in Oncology [Cancer treatment]. However, since he was a student, he enrolled the Foot Light - a society of Cambridge University, a kind of dramatic club where he started to do impersonations and writing humorous pieces for the doctors columns in magazines and finally ended up in a TV programme, making a career of half doctor, half entertainer.
