The Sport of Speedway is today mourning the death of Reading’s Denny Pyeatt who died in hospital this morning after crashing in last night’s meeting at Hackney. Pyeatt was 24, and his second season with Reading. Manager John Smith was at his bed side throughout the night and was there when he died. He expresses how much the whole team is shocked. [Box 2]
