Description

A special report about today’s tragedy [12-12-1988] at the Clapham Junction, London. A crash between three trains, one of them left Bournemouth this morning at 5 minutes to 7 o clock crouded with people. This appalling tragedy left 29 dead and 170 injured at the moment, but casualty figures will change until the end of this investigation. See cue sheet for CD track details. [Box 1]

Notes

Tape contains various inserts edited continuously; CD has been tracked per cue sheet. NB repeats across tracks. Timings differ from cue sheet. Tascam used because of tape handling problems. Track 5- left channel only; Track 8- interference from overdub; Track 11 - some repeats of track 8; ? tracks 14 and 16 are same voice. ? track 21 and 22 are same voice. Track 24 is possible addition to trks 8 and 11; Track 27 differs from cue sheet listing.
