Police with tracker dogs have been searching the Blandford area overnight after the disappearance of a NINE year old girl. They are now appealling for volunteers to join in a fullscale search. Tiffany Hoyles was last seen at about 3 o clock yesterday after noon in the Milldown First School Play area. She’s described as 4 ft 6 and has long blonde hair with a fringe. She’s wearing red track suit trousers and a pink top. When last seen she was riding her bicycle, which is pink with grey mudguards. Police say they are now very concerned about her disappearance. They are asking for people willing to help in the search to report at Blandford Police Station at 8 o’clock this morning. Police are now appealing not only for people who may have seen the missing girl, but also they want to hear from everybody who was in the Milldown area between 1 and 5 o clock yesterday afternoon. Police are making a blanket appeal and launching a large scale search in the Blandford area after the disappearance of a NINE year old girl. Police with tracker dogs have been searching the area overnight and a full search involving volunteers and troops is now getting underway. The man running the operation is Inspector Bob Gould. Apart from appealing for volunteers to take part in the search, police also want local people to check out sheds and outhouses. Conclusion: Detectives are thanking the residents of Blandford for their help in the inquiry which has led to a man appearing in court today charged with the murder of Nine year old Tiffany Hoiles. Detective Superintendant Richard Thomas, who has been leading the investigation, says their assistance was vital to the tightly timed inquiry.
