Now, Michael has another smash hit on his hands starring in the musical Barnum. In it he puts his special magic into the life of P.T. Barnum the man who created the Greatest Show on Earth, better known as the Circus. The show opened at the London Palladium in June and there’s hardly been a spare seat available since. In fact the demand has been so great that when one of our staff at 210 recently tried to get tickets for the next available Saturday night he was sent seats for a Monday next January. As Michael Crawford explained to Jane Walmsley the special thing about Barnum is that it is not just a musical it is a total entertainment. [Box 1]
