AIDS: the facts
- Title
- AIDS: the facts
- Date
- 1987
- Description
- A Government leaflet has been delivered through everybodys door warning of the danger of AIDS. But the Government cant give all the advice available in the leaflet. Theyre leaving it to the media to help the public get the facts. The incurable disease is now likely to spread from the high risk groups, to ordinary families in the next year. Guy Latham reports on the diseases background; how you will get and how you cant get it; treatment for those that have it and the advice that prevention is better than cure. Speakers in the programme include Norman Fowler. Prof. Michael Adler (Middlesex Hospital), AIDS patients and Dr. John Gallway from Radcliffe Infirmary.
