- A documentary to mark the 21st anniversary of the Marine Offences (Broadcast) Act which outlawed Britains offshore radio pirates from 14th August 1967. It traces the history of the pirate ships and includes rare archive recordings of all stations operating from 1964 to 1967. Amongst those interviewed are Ronan ORahilly (founder of Radio Caroline), Simon Dee, Kenny Everest and Johnnie Walker. The programme also covers the establishment reaction, and the selling power of radio advertising. It traces the downfall of the pirates and examines their significance in the development of Independent Radio in Britain.
