Description
In this special documentary, LBC reporter Rodney Bennett returns to Allhallows in the West Country, the school he left 100 terms - or 33 years ago. He finds, not surprisingly, that many changes have taken place in the intervening years: there is now a sizeable contingent of girls among the pupils and the present headmaster Philip Larkman, who previously taught at Gordonstoun (where Prince Andrew was in his House), talks about how he sees the school developing in the future. Much to his surprise, Rodney was able to talk to no less than three of his former teachers including James Turner whose career at Allhallows began as an year-old pupil in 1923 and includes a spell in the headmaster’s chair
