King has spent more than 40 years on the road and in the studio, during which time he has cut over 800 tracks and played with almost every great blues artist as well as those in the pop, rock, soul and jazz fields. He talks about the early days in Memphis where his career started, how he reacted to the British blues boom in the mid 60s, new talent today and what lies in the future. The programme is illustrated by many of B.B.'s tracks including ‘B.B. Boogie’, ‘The Thrill is Gone’ and ‘Why I sing the Blues’.
