History
The production was broadcast live in cinemas on November 13 2013 in RSC Live from Stratford-upon-Avon. This is the first production to be broadcast live by the RSC. Richard II opened on stage in Stratford-upon-Avon at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre 10 October 2013 and played at the Barbican Theatre, London from 9 December to 25 January 2014.
