Richard III

Synopsis
A videotaped recording, using a single camera, of Richard III directed by Ruediger Burbach for the Schauspielhaus, Zurich in 2000. Norman Schenk is Richard. The video concept, realised and directed by Alexander Meier, begins with the actors’ performances projected onto the stage, other video sequences of the stage itself was also projected onto the set, said Meier, ‘creating a sense of movement and abstraction’.
