Synopsis

Dame Edith, when asked what a girl should do to become an actress, says that she must be able to laugh with conviction, cry without embarrassing the audience, have immense self-discipline, and learn how to speak. Dame Edith also comments on Lady Bracknell and the ‘handbag scene’.
