In this episode after an encounter with a mouth-less demon, Buffy is infected with the demon’s blood and gains the ability to hear people’s thoughts. General
Shakespeare is also referenced in the final episode THE GIFT (May 22 2001, Season 5 episode 100). Burt notes that ‘two major English characters critique a less than inspiring speech from Buffy in explicitly Shakespearean terms’. ( entry 2726).
History
Season 3, episode 52. Shown out of sequence with the rest of the season as the content conflicted with a current ‘shooting at school’ incident.
