Synopsis

Extracts of Shakespeare’s play broadcast in two 30-minute sequences with Ralph Richardson in the title role. Part 1 includes Hamlet’s first encounter with the Ghost, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, and Ophelia. Part 2 features Hamlet’s scenes in his mother’s bedroom and in the graveyard.
