Reviews
Michael P. Jensen comments that the play’s 1930s "chic Mediterranean coastal resort" setting "comes through only from the annoying, near continuous nature sounds, and during infrequent spurts of music that are sometimes old jazz and sometimes music hall". From ‘Entries Play by Play’, in Richard Burt (ed.), Shakespeare after Shakespeare: An Encyclopaedia of the Bard in Mass Media and Popular Culture, Vol. 2 (Westport, Conn.: Greenwood Press, 2007), p. 575, Entry 2612.
