The Baim Collection owns and controls all the copyright works of the director, writer and producer Harold Baim (1914-1996). Baim produced many 35mm ‘quota-quickies’ and short features, his early films featured variety acts; his later films were mainly colourful widescreen travelogues with commentaries by celebrated actors and broadcasters.
There are over one hundred and twenty short colour films originally made for cinema release in the UK and two feature films. Mostly in colour, over half the titles are available on BETA SP or DIGIBETA. DVD screeners are available to researchers and programme makers. HD copies can be made available from the 35mm negatives which are held in London. The majority of images have yet to be broadcast. The lists are primarily for use by producers, researchers and programme makers wishing to licence clips or images for inclusion in new films, television programmes and web pages. Includes a list of DVDs directed by Baim with links to Amazon.
The site includes a list of lost films by Baim with a plea for information.

The Irish Film & Television Index is a constituent element of the Irish Film & TV Research Online website. The Index’s aim is to document all Irish-made cinema and major television productions as well as Irish-themed audio-visual representations produced outside of Ireland. The database, which has drawn on the archival and paper records from many of the world’s leading film archives and specialist libraries, including ones in Ireland, Britain, the USA, and Australia, has almost 40,000 titles. Under the Irish Research Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences’ Major Grant Scheme, 2003-05, an award was made to update Kevin Rockett’s The Irish Filmography (1996) and to document all major non-fiction films, including newsreels, and animation, made for cinema and television. Researchers are able to find, for example, an Irish-theme film; its cast list or production personnel; read a synopsis of its content; establish what has been written about it; compile, through a keyword search, a list of complementary titles; and then find out where a copy of the film may be found.

CASP is a research project devoted to the exploration and documentation of the ways in which Shakespeare has been adapted into a national, multicultural theatrical practice. Originally launched in 2004 by Professor Daniel Fischlin, CASP Version 2 was released in 2007 offering more than double the content, including learning, teaching, multimedia, and research resources and pedagogical tools related to how Shakespeare has been adapted into (and out of) Canadian theatre. The multimedia section streams audio and video content.
