Cody Reeder, a Geology student at Utah State University, has been uploading videos for a few years and now has over 1.5 million subscribers. All kinds of experiments are presented here: from geology to chemistry to gardening and everything in between including bee keeping, which is actually the play list with the largest number of videos on offer (109 so far). Among the many millions of objects held across Cambridge University’s eight museums, Botanic Garden, Centre for South Asian Studies, and University Library, are a huge number of wonders related to the world’s largest democracy: India.
India Unboxed is a collection of eight short films telling the stories behind some of these objects. The videos, which are available via Cambridge University’s Youtube Channel, were created as part of a year-long celebration across the University and city of Cambridge to mark the UK–India Year of Culture 2017.

The Arctic and Barents Documentary Film database contains information on over 35,000 films made in or about the Arctic held by the archives of the Russian TV companies GTRK Murman, TV Pomorye and Finnish broadcaster YLE. Detailed information with scene by scene description and a digitised preview (in avi format) is available for more than 1000 films, but researchers wishing to view the films in their entirety will have to travel to the University of Lapland.

The Geological Society of London’s podcast series produced by Earth Science Communicator, Sarah Day, features London lecturers, as well as other geoscientists, speaking about their latest discoveries.
