E&T is the Institution of Engineering and Technology’s monthly magazine and associated website for engineers. It covers all areas of engineering and technology through exclusive news, features and analysis. E&T also presents a rolling series of audio podcasts to accompany each issue of the magazine. Engineering and technology developments, news and interviews are covered throughout the series. Individual episodes can be downloaded free of charge. Recent topics have covered hydrogen-powered vehicles, drug delivery systems and the women codebreakers at Bletchley Park.

The Medical Research Council’s aim is to improve human health through world-class medical research. It supports research across the biomedical spectrum, from fundamental lab-based science to clinical trials, and in all major disease areas. It works closely with the NHS and the UK Health Departments to delive research that is likely to make a real difference to clinical practice and the health of the population. The Council hosts a series of short films on 100 years of life changing discoveries on its YouTube channel,other topics include Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) lab grown thymus, and the immune system and transplantation. The site hosts MRC Talks, a short series of podcasts which accompany the online Network magazine: one episode looks at how a group of scientists at the MRC Integrative Epidemiology Unit in Bristol are practising open science – the art of making their research freely available online.
