Mondays with Merce is a series of 16 freely available videos, each featuring Cunningham discussing an important aspect of his work, as well as interviews with dancers and collaborators who have worked with him. The Division also houses the Rudolph Nureyev Collection, the world’s largest collection of films, video and audio material related to the dancer. The London College of Fashion has gathered together a number of videos on its LCF Channel website which highlight the work of graduating students from its BA and MA courses and include footage of Catwalk Shows as well as a Performance Archive showcasing the work of students studying costume design, make up and prosthetics, costume for performance and technical effects. The site also features interviews with students and staff and a number of 'how to’ videos illustrating the design and manufacturing of a pair of shoes, a handbag and lipstick.
The National Theatre’s website has been active since 1998 and provides information on its productions by way of press reviews, posters, programmes, stills, set and costume designs etc. which are available to view to anyone but only by appointment. Since 1995 they have also been recording their own productions, or co-productions, which are put on at their theatres on the South Bank using a single fixed video camera. These can only be viewed on their premises and no copies can be made. A full list of the items on video is given, in alphabetical order. Very little of this wealth of information is actually available online, though the website is a useful guide to the resources available to students and researchers if they are prepared to make the trip to the Archive, which is situated near Kennington Park in London.
