As of March 2017 the number of results returned from a search for ‘Shakespeare’ in YouTube is nearing two million: for this reason the approach of BardBox is necessarily selective. Luke McKernan, who maintains the site, selects videos specifically created for distributon on YouTube, Vimeo, Daily Motion and other sites, and posts the content along with his own comments and details of cast, credits, date and links.
