- These Guidelines are intended to help define how the BBC will comply with its duty of due impartiality during the period leading up to and including the general election of 2015 and English local government elections in the same year. This consultation invites views on whether these Guidelines are relevant and appropriate and then the Trust will take these views into account when considering whether they should approve the Guidelines.
