- In February 2008 the BBC Trust received a non-service application from the BBC Executive, in partnership with ITV, Channel 4 and Five, proposing an alternative way of rearranging the necessary spectrum to that suggested by Ofcom, to enable HD services on Freview. This interim statement issued by the BBC Trust on 3/4/2008 sets out the Trust’s position to date and its course of action in the light of Ofcom’s revised conclusions which are published simultaneously. It also explains the Trust’s decision to suspend its consideration of the non-service application pending the outcome of the Ofcom process.
