- 2020 Vision sets out the British Library’s 10-year vision, following 12 months of extensive and wide-ranging research and consultation. In a climate of significant technological change, it highlights what are likely to be the key trends and opportunities over the next decade, and indicates how the library will develop as an organisation to increase access to the world’s knowledge base for its users. A key part of the vision is to prepare for the future by taking steps to ensure that collection, storage and accessibility of digital content is prioritised.
