- This document sets out plans designed to deliver long term and sustainable benefits in response to the newly emerging needs facing the heritage sector. It responds to the views of over 2,000 organisations and individuals who took part in the HLF’s consultation. As well as introducing new initiatives and changes to existing programmes, the strategic framework sets out how the HLF plans to maintain their current balance of providing both open programmes and targeted interventions focused in areas of urgent need or opportunity. Their goal is to make a lasting difference for heritage, people and communities: the strategic framework identifies the range of outcomes that they want to achieve with their funding.
