- Independent research report commissioned jointly by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, the DCMS and DEFRA, carried out by Intertek, analysing the energy consumption of digital radios versus comparable analogue devices. It shows that overall energy consumption of DAB radios compares favourably to the average energy consumption of analogue radios, and is continuing to improve.
