- The Institute of Education Library is a specialist collection covering all aspects of education. Its Special Collections include two collections held on deposit from the BBC. They are:
BBC Broadcasts to Schools: a collection of pamphlets published to accompany Schools’ Broadcasts from 1926 until the late 1970s.
BBC Radiovision:the complete record of BBC School Radio’s Radiovision output from 1964 to 1990, consisting of nearly 1,000 programmes on cassette, with accompanying teachers’ notes and visual materials, including film strips and slides.
Related materials held in the Archives are:the Papers of Duncan Taylor, who worked as a producer of history programmes for schools’ radio,from 1948 - 1973. - Website
