Video/Film
Video: 52 reels/cassettes, 9 hours. The rate of acquisition is approximately five videos per annum. Mostly Liberty plc material; also some video of views of St Marylebone (c.1950) and a publicity video for the Langham Hotel. Advertising, amateur, news and current affairs, arts and fashion programmes.
Video components: VHS Video, lo-band U-Matic, Beta/Beta-SP.
Film: 1.25 hours. Eleven films are held, including civic ceremonies, Royal visits, Liberty plc material and some BBC and ITN newsfilm footage. A selection of material has been copied onto VHS video. 34% colour film, 66% black and white film. Advertising, amateur, documentary, news and current affairs.
Film components: 16mm, positive film.
