VOICE OF THE LISTENER AND VIEWER (VLV)
- Description
- VLV has an extensive archive of its own with records of all its conferences since 1984, plus a reference library of books and magazines, etc, some from overseas consumer groups which are not likely to be replicated elsewhere in Britain. There is also an archive of the former Broadcasting Consortium (of charities which lobbied around the 1990 Broadcasting Bill and subsequently for a few years). The strength of the VLV collection lies in its perspective of the listener and viewer, representing the citizen and consumer interest.
