Description

The media collection covers a broad spectrum of subjects, age-levels and physical formats. It is designed to support all courses taught in the Faculty of Education. Its principal role is to provide resources for students when on placement, mainly teaching (all levels), community education and speech and language therapy. The collection therefore covers most subjects taught in schools from pre-school to secondary, further and adult education and higher education. There are also media resources supporting the teaching of social work, speech and language therapy, music, sport and all education courses. The physical formats include sound recordings (audio cassettes, compact discs and jazz records), video-recordings (commercial and off-air), slides, wallcharts, multimedia packs and a range of software.
