- The main collection supporting media-related pathways is located in the St.Marys Road Learning Resources Centre. It supports media arts and creative arts and technologies pathways, not just film and television. Subjects include broadcasting, cinema and film, communications, film industry, media studies, radio, television and video production. There is a large film collection on video, mainly off-air recordings, which covers all genres, independent and classic films and some foreign feature films; there is also a growing collection of films in DVD format. There is a collection of about 60 radio programmes, particularly plays, comedies, and some illustrating the history of radio.

- No external access to slide collection, electronic databases (or PCs), or ERA licensed off-air recordings. External access for students is allowed via SCONUL scheme and UK Libraries Plus. Otherwise by written arrangement, but restricted.
