- The SCRSS Library’s theatre and cinema collection covers the entire Soviet period, with detailed materials on the 1920s-30s. It includes the writings of theatre practitioners (Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Vakhtangov, and Nemirovich-Danchenko) and film practitioners (Eisenstein, Pudovkin and Romm), biographies of directors and artistes, histories of theatres, theatre and film criticism. The collection is backed up by a superb visual resource comprising photographs and Russian and Soviet realia.
