Moving Image, Audio and Related Documentation Holdings

Video/Film
Video: 200 reels/cassettes. Videos including original productions, television programmes and film transfers.
Video components: VHS Video, hi-band U-Matic, lo-band U-Matic, Beta/Beta-SP.
Film: 500 cans. Items relating mainly to Sheffield, particularly the steel industry. No nitrate film. In 1961 all nitrate stock then held was transferred to the National Film and Television Archive. New nitrate acquisitions are offered to the national collections.
Film components: 9.5mm, 16mm, 35mm, positive film, negative film.
