- The Learning Resources Centre holds a wide range of Open University teaching materials, including audiovisual resources, printed course materials, multimedia resources and digital video. The audiovisual resources include Open University television and radio programmes from 1971; audio cassettes from 1978 and video cassettes; CDs and DVDs; production transcripts and programme synopses, a slide collection; a Staff Development Resource and Training and Desktop Resource materials for IT skills. Programme material covers the Faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Mathematics and Computing, Science, Technology, Education and Language Studies, Law, the Business School, Health and Social Care, and Institute of Educational Technology. Also, general information about the Open University. These resources can be used in the Library which has a specialised viewing area. Information on most of the resources is available through the Library catalogue. A help desk is available for further information.

- Access available during Library opening hours: Monday and Wednesday 0830-1930, Tuesday and Thursday 0830-2100, Friday 0830-1700, Saturday 0900-1700. Material available for reference and use in the University Library. Current video material (on VHS and some DVD), comprising 1,400 programmes, is available for loan to Library members.
