- The collection started in 1992 with trial recordings to establish best techniques and formats for recording live performance in front of an audience. There are now over 100 recordings, largely drama and some opera, musical theatre and pantomime.

- Access available. Tue-Fri 10.30-16.30, by arrangement only. All researchers are welcome to watch the recordings and look at associated materials. A list of the recordings is available.
