- National archive built up over the past fifty years. The collection grew from education requirements and gifts of special material as well as the Museum’s involvement with productions for broadcast television. Varied archive of maritime related film.
The National Maritime Museum holds a fascinating collection of over 1500 documented films dating back to 1910. These provide a rich insight into Britain’s relationship with the sea. There are also some unique views of coastal resorts and ports both at home and abroad at the start of the 20th century. - Artefact description

- Copyright resides with 3rd party in main but National Maritime Museum has permission of many copyright holders to release the material on their behalf. Copyright advice available.
