I.A. RECORDINGS VIDEO ARCHIVE

Description
Original material recorded by the self-funded, voluntary organisation I.A. Recordings. From 1982 onwards it covers British industrial activity past and present, e.g. remains of old industries and intensive recording of existing industries, many of which were threatened and have since closed. The work is funded by the sale of compilations and productions based on the archive material. I.A. Recordings maintain an extensive web site at www.iarecordings.org with general information about industrial archaeology and details of archive recordings including an A-Z subject index.
