Local programmes cover a rich social history of London including transport, housing, police, news, politics, history and wildlife.

Video components: VHS Video, S-VHS Video, hi-8, hi-band U-Matic, lo-band U-Matic, Beta/Beta-SP, 1-inch Video, 2-inch Video, DigiBeta, D1, D2 and D3.
Film: 45,000 cans. Current affairs, entertainment, drama, arts, sport. 95% colour film, 5% black and white film.
Film components: 16mm, Super 16, 35mm, positive film, negative film, fine grain print, effects mix, final mix.

Camera scripts, transcripts, production as transmitted forms held on file or on optical disk.
Conservation policy
Some transmitted tapes were junked earlier on. The policy is now to hold two transmitted copies on separate sites. Field tapes are junked after review. 2-inch tapes transferred to D2 and Digi-Beta for preservation, then given to NFTVA.
