GLYNDEBOURNE OPERA

Description
The Glyndebourne Archive was formally established in November 1987. It aims to provide a complete historical record of Glyndebourne Festival Opera, and Glyndebourne Touring Opera, from their beginnings in 1934 and 1968 respectively, up to the present day, for the purposes of research, private study or just out of curiosity!

Now re-housed in newly renovated premises, the Archive contains a large collection of programme books, press cuttings, posters, printed ephemera, audio and video recordings, books and articles, all of which are available for consultation, and there is access to the majority of correspondence files. The collection consists of commercially released videos of Glyndebourne operas from 1972 to date.
