CHANNEL TUNNEL LIBRARY
- Description
- The Library consists of footage of the construction and current operation of the Tunnel from when it was first started in 1986 to its opening in 1994 by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and President Mitterand of France. Footage is available of all aspects of construction from tunnelling to aerial footage of terminals and was shot principally in France and the UK, but there is also footage of equipment manufacture in Canada, Italy, Belgium and Germany.
